Seeing stars

Synopsis - Amber, a city girl through and through, arrives to spend the summer down south in the tiny village of fiddlesticks, with her grandma's oldest friend. Far from city life, internet connections and a bedroom with more than one socket Amber starts to regret the choice, even more so when she finds that most of the village live their lives around the astral calendar!

My review
( but feel free to add comments)

A great book but not one that was unput-downable. An easy read with lots of lively characters and a surprising twist that comes right at the end. Having lived in a village I can totally relate to some of the village life aspects she writes about and could honestly believe that tucked away in a small hidden part
of the English countryside there is indeed a village much like
this.

It was my first C. Jones book but I will be reading another very soon, perhaps the Hubble Bubble which I believe was the book previous to this, also for those of you which read and enjoyed Hubbe Bubbble you may be delighted to know that several of the charcacters reappear in Seeing Stars.

Looking forwardto your comments.

Ciao for now.
